What is the Wild Pockets Game Jam?
The Wild Pockets PA Game Jam event is two days of intense creativity where teams of game developers compete to create the best games while using the new free Wild Pockets 3D game engine and platform. 24 hours after you start, you and your team will have the chance to submit your game and have it judged by a panel of industry experts for a chance to win some amazing prizes.

9am Saturday October 3 through 4pm Sunday October 4, 2009

Pittsburgh, PA – Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center (map)
Harrisburg PA – Harrisburg University (map)
Cost to Attend
The PA Game Jam is a free event.
Bring
You will need to bring a Windows compatible laptop or desktop with you as well as earphones or speakers if you plan to add sound to your game.

What is Wild Pockets
Wild Pockets is currently in open beta, and gives indie and casual game developers a powerful platform to create Web-based games for free. Using Wild Pockets browser-based tools, developers can create elaborate games, interactive training, and 3-D advertising, which can then be posted easily on just about any Web site by using an embed tag similar to YouTube videos.
